Lively Muhammadiyah 48th Muktamar with Mata Najwa Carrying the theme “Merawat Indonesia”

In order to enliven the 48th Muhammadiyah & Aisyiyah Muktamar, Muhammadiyah held a Talk Show (Mata Najwa) with Najwa Shihab as the guest speaker. The talk show took the theme of”Merawat Indonesia”, which was closely related to the goal of the muktamar, namely advancing Indonesia, and enlightening the universe with the diversity of Muhammadiyah. The activity was held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 19.30 WIB and located at the Edutorium KH. Ahmad Dahlan UMS. It was also opened for public.

According to Taufik Nugroho from the media committee, he said that this event was held to promote inter-religious harmony and not only focus on Muhammadiyah but also on all Muslims in Indonesia. The event collaborated with Najwa Shihab with the aim that many people would watch, witness, and know about the diversity of Muhammadiyah and preparations for the 48th Muktamar which will be held in Solo.

Abdul Afif as the secretariat of this event also said that the talk show was attended by approximately 12.000 people from various cities, consisting of around 600 VIP guests including VIP A, VIP B, VIP C, and VIP D, and the rest were a participant. The biggest enthusiasm came from teenagers, both from UMS students and outside UMS students. The majority of young people because there may be an age range of 17-25 years almost 70%, 30% attended by participants with an age range of 25-45 years. During the event, many door prizes were provided for participants who dared to express their aspirations regarding the current condition of Indonesia and the event went smoothly. This could be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants, even when the gate had not been opened but the queue was already long and

The Mata Najwa event was also enlivened by a stand-up comedy from Yusril Fahriza, he is a Muhammadiyah cadre and currently a national comedian. Not forgetting the entertainment from Aderaprabu Lantip Trengginas who performed two songs in opening and closing.

It was expected that Muktamar Talk with Mata Najwa can attract the attention of the wider community in welcoming the Muktamar which will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022. The Muktamar is predicted to be attended by 3 million people so with the community knowing that the event will be held, the community will prepare themselves such as showing the courtesy of the local culture of Solo people.
