PRE EVENT SIPA GOES TO MALL: An Event That Combines Music, Dance, and Creativity.

LPM CAMPUS – The annual pre-event, which is always held as a prelude to the main Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) event, is back with a bang. This year’s SIPA Pre-Event at the Mall 2025 will take place at Solo Paragon Mall, Solo, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will be attended by the general public who came to shop and enjoy the entertainment, as well as special guests invited by SIPA.

​​This event is the result of collaboration between the SIPA committee and Solo Paragon Mall. The aim is to strengthen direct interaction with the community, while spreading information and enthusiasm about the main SIPA 2025 event, which will be held soon. The choice of Solo Paragon Mall as the venue for the event was not without reason. Based on a survey conducted by the organizing committee of several malls in Solo, Mall Solo Paragon was chosen due to its large scale and high visitor turnout.

One of the SIPA 2025 committee members, Adib, explained, “Solo Paragon Mall is a vibrant and lively place, always bustling with visitors. It’s the perfect location for events that aim to attract large crowds.” The high level of excitement among the visitors was evident throughout the event.

Wening, one of the visitors who attended the pre-event, also provided feedback. “This event is really enjoyable. If it were held on weekends like in previous years, more people would come,” she said kindly. This suggestion will certainly be taken into consideration by the committee for future events.

The excitement of this event was actually the result of the hard work of the committee during two to three months of preparation. Although most of the committee members were still actively studying at various campuses around Solo, the coordination and implementation of the event ran smoothly. “We are proud that our team was able to carry out this event successfully, even while juggling our busy college schedules,” said Adib. 

At this year’s SIPA Pre-Event at the Mall 2025, the performances featured new and emerging art communities from Solo. There were no specific criteria for participation, as the committee’s main focus was to introduce newly established art communities to a broader audience. Adib, coordinator of the venue and catering division, said, “We deliberately chose emerging art communities so they could become more widely known and potentially collaborate in larger SIPA events in the future.”

This event featured a variety of interesting art performances and talk shows. Some of them were talk shows with the 2023 SIPA Ambassador and the SIPA community, performances by Timeless Dance K-Pop, Bettersound Band, Sevonce Band, Srikandi Catur, Buggy, and the Solo Prince and Princess Fashion Show. The entire series of events added a unique touch that enriched the experience of the visitors who attended.

With a spirit of togetherness and love for culture, the Pre Event SIPA on the Mall 2025 is an important moment to strengthen the relationship between artists, the community, and art enthusiasts in Solo. Let’s look forward to the main event of SIPA 2025, which is sure to be even bigger and more spectacular.
