Mangayubagyo Night as a Symbol of Welcoming Muktamar Participants and Award Night
In order to welcome the arrival of muktamirin and penggembira of the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah & Aisyiyah, Muhammadiyah held a “Mangayubagyo Night”. This activity was held on October 18 2022 at 19.30 WIB and took place at the Edutorium KH. Ahmad Dahlan UMS.
“We call Mangayubagyo night as welcoming the muktamirin and participants of the Muktamar, or the term is a concert”, said Taufik Nugroho as the Media and Publication Section VI of the Conference Recipient Committee.
The activity was opened with the recitation of the holy verses of the Koran by Ustadz Wildan Zulfikar who is a member of the KOKAM (Muhammadiyah Youth Preparedness Command) from Klaten, Alumni of the Gontor Islamic Boarding School, and currently he is the main reciter and muezzin at the Al-Aqsha Grand Mosque Klaten.
Chairperson of the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah & Aisyiyah Accepting Committee, Prof. Dr. Sofyan Anif M.Si in his speech, he expressed his gratitude for being able to stay in touch and he also welcomed all the muktamirin and penggembira who were present. He also invited all the penggembira to attend the opening of the Muktamar which would be held on November 19 at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.
“Though there are penggembira who don’t have an invitation—please you still attend with joy, take care of the environment because the 48th Muktamar has the motto “Muktamar Bersih Lingkungan,” said Sofyan.
He also hoped that all muktamirin and penggembira would not litter, even though the Muktamar already has more than 800 garbage pick-up troops. But Muhammadiyah wants to set an example for others and it is hoped that the 48th Muktamar will become an example for other activities.
