The crowd chasing the truck, which was unstable due to intense panic, confronted the perpetrator after the incident at the Kodim Tanggerang Traffic Light. The crowd was made even more furious when the perpetrator bulldozed the streets mercilessly by crashing into various vehicles such as motorbikes and cars. As a result, many people were harmed on the road. The truck is considered irresponsible and endangers road users by being reckless on the Cikokol highway to Hasyim Ashari Road. After successfully surrounding him at the Tanggerang Adipura monument, the crowd immediately beat the perpetrator. As a result, the perpetrator had to be taken to Tanggerang District Hospital. The police will interrogate the perpetrator after treatment.
Data from the Traffic Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police quoted from Kompas TV, while there were six victims injured in this incident, consisting of four motorcyclists, one car driver, and one pedestrian. The victims were treated at several hospitals in Tangerang, including EMC Hospital, Sari Asih Cipondoh Hospital, Tangerang City Hospital, and Tangerang Regency Hospital. The police are still studying the chronology of the incident that harmed many parties. The Tanggerang City Metro Police will also examine witnesses and victims and will conduct a crime scene (TKP) to explore the chronology and causes of this incident. Quoted from Viva.co, those who feel aggrieved by this incident can report to the Tanggerang Metro Police to serve complaints for damage and losses experienced.
If we encounter similar incidents, both perpetrators and victims are expected not to worry and panic. Although it provides a shock effect after the incident, the perpetrator should not leave the scene out of fear and worry because they have to take responsibility. If the perpetrator leaves the scene, the problem will be worse because the panic can arouse the anger of others who see the incident. So the lesson learned is to be careful when driving, don’t be too conservative when driving because it will cause excessive worry and panic.
