Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) continues to innovate to improve student comfort. This time, the Faculty of Psychology UMS introduced new facilities that will certainly make the campus atmosphere more lively, comfortable and fun for students. Starting from the installation of a Vending Machine, which is a box-shaped machine like a cupboard that automatically sells various kinds of drinks and snacks, to the addition of comfortable seating at several points in the Faculty of Psychology, including in the south hall and on several other floors, providing additional comfort for students who want to move there.

The Vending Machine located in the Faculty of Psychology, precisely in front of the elevator in the South Hall of the Faculty of Psychology, is the right and practical choice for students who often feel hungry in the midst of a busy lecture schedule. With the presence of this vending machine, students no longer need to bother going to the canteen which is quite far from the faculty of psychology. Simply select the food or drink you want, type the number on the machine screen, and proceed to the payment menu to complete the transaction very quickly.
Another advantage is the ease of making payments, because this machine provides a QR code that can be scanned through the QRIS feature in the mobile banking application, so that transactions become more practical without the need for cash. With this quick and easy way, students can immediately enjoy their favorite snacks or drinks without a hitch.
For the price of food and drinks at the Faculty of Psychology vending machine itself is quite affordable for students’ pockets. With a price range that ranges from Rp. 10,000 to Rp. 30,000.
Not only that, the Faculty of Psychology has also added more comfortable seating facilities, in the form of long chairs placed in various areas, including in the south hall and several other floors in the faculty environment. This seating is designed to provide more comfort when students want to relax, have group discussions, work on assignments or just take a break between academic activities. This modern and comfortable seating design is certainly a new favorite place for students. With this facility, students no longer need to sit on the floor which is uncomfortable, so that students can focus more and feel more at home in the faculty environment.
With this additional facility, the Faculty of Psychology UMS further strengthens its commitment to providing a campus environment that not only focuses on academics, but also the overall well-being of students. A small step that can make the college experience more enjoyable.
